About Miranda:
Dr. Miranda Vinay is an Associate Editor for Communications Engineering, the new engineering-focuses journal from the Nature Portfolio. She also serves as Consulting Editor for Nature Communications and Communications Physics. As a researcher studying chemistry, her work spanned the surfaces of high-temperature superconductors to prototyping gas sensors made from carbon nanotubes. Beyond the benchtop, she is a passionate science writer and communicator. She joined Springer Nature in February 2022 to develop those skills into a scientific career.
